Artists

To submit artworks for publication:

Prime Arts has helped to develop the careers of many talented artists, and enabled them to promote themselves, and their art. We offer artists from all over the world an opportunity to establish themselves within the art community.

Our collection hosts photographers, painters, illustrators, mixed media, and computer based graphic artists and we are always willing to consider fresh ideas and media.

Artists seeking to display and sell their original work can do so through our galleries, or through our interactive online gallery. Those who wish to publish work with us are expected to submit a portfolio of available work with a brief personal statement, any previous publication history and outline contract details.

Work must be available in one of the following formats:

  • CD (low resolution JPEGS)
  • Slides
  • Transparencies
  • Photographs
  • Photocopies

Other formats maybe acceptable, please contact us should this be the case. Please also be aware that we prefer to work from the original when reproducing artwork. It is therefore beneficial if the artist has access to the original or can make the piece available for the scanning process to take place.

All submitted work will go before a review panel here at Prime Arts and successful candidates will be contacted with a contract offer. Unsuccessful candidates are notified in writing, Prime Arts request all work is accompanied by a SAE for return of works. In many cases, artwork that is unsuitable at the time of submission may become suitable for publication at a later stage, in which case, we would be happy to retain items on file for reference.

Please note Prime Arts publish in accordance with British Law. No contract will be issued unless a successful submission received. Once a successful candidate has been selected by our review panel, a draft contract will be issued to them which will contain full details of Fees, Royalties and obligations by both parties. Fees are not based upon the estimated value of the original piece.

Any questions that arise will be handled by a member of out art selection team.
